What is B'dayBuzz?
B'dayBuzz is a birthday celebration platform. It helps you track the birthdays of people you care about, set automated reminders, browse a curated gift shop, and send gifts from local merchants — all in one place.
Is B'dayBuzz free to use?
Yes! Creating an account and tracking birthdays is completely free. You only spend money when you choose to purchase a gift from our shop.
What devices can I use B'dayBuzz on?
B'dayBuzz works on any device with a browser — smartphone, tablet or desktop. We support all modern browsers and our site is fully mobile-responsive.
Is my personal data safe?
Absolutely. We take data security seriously. Your information is encrypted, never sold to third parties, and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Read more on our Privacy Policy page.

Birthdays & Reminders

How do I add a birthday?
After creating your account, go to the Birthdays section and click 'Add Birthday'. Enter the person's name, birthday date, and any notes. You can add as many contacts as you like.
How far in advance will I be reminded?
You choose! In your reminder settings, you can set reminders anywhere from 1 to 30 days before a birthday. You can also set multiple reminders for the same person.
Can I get both email and SMS reminders?
Yes. Go to Settings → Reminder Preferences and toggle on both email and SMS notifications. Make sure your phone number is saved in your profile to receive SMS alerts.
What if I forget to add a birthday in time?
No problem — you can add birthdays at any time. If the birthday is coming up very soon, we'll trigger an immediate alert so you still have a chance to react.

Gifts & Orders

How does the gift shop work?
Browse gifts from verified merchants in our Gift Shop. Add items to your cart, checkout securely via Paystack, and the merchant fulfils the order. You can track your delivery in real time from your Orders dashboard.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major debit and credit cards, bank transfers, and payments.
Can I send a gift directly to someone's address?
Yes! When checking out, you can enter the recipient's delivery address directly. You can also add a personalised note that will be included with the gift.
What is your return and refund policy?
We offer a 48-hour window to request a refund or exchange for damaged or incorrect items. Please see our full Refund Policy in our Terms & Conditions for details.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary by merchant and location. Most merchants offer 1–3 day delivery and 3–7 days nationwide. Estimated delivery dates are shown at checkout.

Merchants

How do I become a merchant on B'dayBuzz?
Click 'Sell With Us' and register as a merchant. You'll need to provide your store information, a valid business document, and your bank account details for payouts.
How much does it cost to sell on B'dayBuzz?
Registration is completely free. We charge a 10% commission on each completed sale. There are no monthly fees or listing charges.
How and when do I get paid?
Earnings are transferred to your registered bank account within 48 hours of order delivery confirmation. You can track your earnings and pending payouts in your Merchant Dashboard.
What products can I sell?
You can sell any physical gift-suitable products — cakes, flowers, hampers, clothing, accessories, personalised items, beauty products, and more. All products are reviewed before going live to ensure quality standards.
